The last time Don & spent a significant amount of time apart we both decided to read the same book so that we could have something familiar & interesting to discuss during our time apart. Previously we read The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde.
This time around we are reading The Little Drummer Girl, by John LeCarre. We didn’t intentionally start reading the same book at the same time, but today while we were “Skype-ing” Don mentioned how much he liked the book and recommended that I looked into the hard-cover copy he had on his bookshelf. And so, a book club for two is born. So far I’m really enjoying the book and I’m looking forward to sharing the plot turns with Don from a distance. I’ll certainly follow up with a book review when I’ve finished.
